Darrel has served in the IT industry for over 23 years. Wearing many hats over the years has given him an impressive array of hands-on IT skills as well as the ability to hone IT strategies that drive organizations forward and bring greater peace of mind to business owners and management teams. His role includes overseeing day to day operations of the help desk and project team at Sunstate. He works with the technical team to solve customer issues with the right balance of speed and thoroughness while also galvanizing the engineering team in its efforts to deliver the right-fit solutions that meet every client’s productivity goals while also maximizing IT security. Darrel’s journey started as a Satellite communication technician in the U.S Army. Next, he worked for Alcatel USA as a fiber technician, network tester, and project manager. He has the following accreditations: MCSE, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Project +, BICSI Communication Distribution Designer, BICSI Telecommunications project Manager.
